An afternoon snack that I have been enjoying recently is this delicious apple treat — it’s sweet with a little hint of savoury and combines carbs with fats and protein, so great for blood sugar balance. Most importantly, it only takes a few minutes to prepare!

To make this meal higher in protein, feel free to switch the single cream for cottage cheese or if you’re vegan, you can use some plant-based yoghurt instead and agave syrup in place of honey!
