We recently spent a wonderful weekend in Bristol, enjoying quality time with family and meeting our new niece, who is absolutely adorable. 🥰
Whenever we visit Bristol, the sole purpose is to spend time with family, so when looking for a hotel to stay at, our requirements are quite simple. We look for somewhere that is:
✅Affordable
✅Clean
✅Well designed
Whilst we haven’t had the greatest experiences at other Bristol hotels, Mollie’s Motels has been good to us. 🙏🏽
With interiors designed by @sohohouse the communal spaces and guest rooms at Mollie’s are both elegant and contemporary. ✨ Cowshed products are used and can also be purchased from their General Store (the lobby area). You can also purchase snacks from sustainable brands like Tony’s Chocolonely.
Each room has a Dyson hair dryer and hair straightener. I don’t straighten my hair much, but younger me would have loved this! 💁🏽♀️
There is also a water station in the hallway for guests to fill up their water bottles or to make tea/coffee—very sustainable. 💧
In terms of cleanliness, I would say Mollie’s has reasonably good hygiene. 👍🏽 We’ve stayed at two other hotels in Bristol and the hygiene has been terrible. 👎🏽
On site, Mollie’s has a diner which we’ve visited a couple of times. The food is good—simple diner food, nothing extravagant, but decent nonetheless.
Lastly, in terms of price point, Mollie’s is very affordable. Depending on when you book, you can get a room for approximately £65 a night which I think is reasonable considering a 4 or 5 star hotel in Bristol can range anywhere from £90 – £300+. 💸
Do you have plans to visit Bristol and if so, will you be staying at Mollie’s? 🙂
